Gradstein Marathon For ER Workers
Dr. Janneke Gradstein is running to support the Emergency Department at the Cumberland Health Care Center. Dr. Gradstein will run a full marathon of 42.2 km to honor those who work so diligently, and with enormous dedication, in the ER. The run is planned for Saturday, February 27th. She is asking individuals, groups or businesses to sponsor one of those 42kms for $50 each. If you have wanted to try snowshoeing, join Maggie’s Place Saturday 1-2:30, and give it a try at Rotary Park on Elmwood Drive. They will have adult and school age size snow shoes - some sleds for pulling the little ones or Maggie’s Place early childhood educators would be happy to play with the kids too little for snowshoeing. Fundy Geological Museum – Youth Eco-Venture Club
The Fundy Geological Museum is holding Youth Eco-Venture Club’s during March Break. Explore science and nature, with a focus on the natural world around Parrsboro. It’s for youth in grades 1-3.
