The Wild Blueberry harvest Festival is Aug 14-31 in Cumberland County. Saturday Aug 17 it’s Wild Blueberry Day at the Pugwash Farmers Market The Pugwash Market Blueberry Festival is happening from 9-noon. They will have the Great Blueberry Bake-Off Competition, Blueberry Shortcake Fundraiser and tasty recipes.

The Minudie Heritage Association will be holding a Pancake Breakfast at the Minudie Hall on Saturday, August 17th from 9-11. The cost is $7.00 a plate and includes pancakes, sausages, and scrambled eggs, with tea coffee or juice.

There’s Music at the Mall Saturday at the Amherst Center. Andy Melanson will be playing at the Market and Café from 11-1. Then it’s R.A., Jack Hudson and Drew Moore from 1-3. As always there will be a cash draw and door prizes. And there’s great food, with Caribbean, Korean and traditional cuisine at the Café.

The Wild Blueberry Harvest Festival is Aug 14-31 in Cumberland County. The River Phillip Wild Blueberry Dinner is Saturday Aug 17 from 4-6 at the Community Hall. They will have ham and cold salads, rolls, tea/coffee, and wild blueberry cheesecake/crisp. Cost: $12 for adults, $6 for children 12 and under; free for preschoolers. All proceeds go to the River Philip Community Hall Association.
