The Cumberland Community Health Boards are accepting Wellness Funds Applications. If you have a great idea for a project in the areas of affordable housing, poverty, food insecurity, early childhood development and social isolation, they would like to hear from you. There’s Music at the Mall this Saturday, at the Amherst Center. Julia Lavers will be playing from 11-1 at the entrance to the Artisans Gallery (with a touch of Christmas in July) From 1-3 it’s Evange Landry and Neon Moon. There will be a cash draw, and door prizes and International Market Café cuisine with Donna Gogan, Charles Song, John Helm and Linda Burke.

The Cumberland County Museum presents, Enemy Aliens Exhibit , the Amherst Interment Camp 1914-1919. It is part of Enemy Aliens Interment in Canada 1914-1920 travelling exhibition from the Canadian War Museum. The exhibit runs until October 6, with the grand opening Saturday starting at 2. The museum grounds will be open and there will be a tea party as well. For more information call 902-667-0996.

Fresh Paint is the art exhibit featuring the work of 7 artists who competed in a Live Graffiti Battle at the Town of Amherst, Summer Nights Market in June. The artists were given 2 hours to produce an original piece of art, based on the theme Diversity. The art is available for auction on the Town of Amherst facebook page until the end of August.
