The Town of Sackville invites you to celebrate 150 years of the Inter-colonial Railway in Sackville, Sat June 1 from 9-4 at the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Center. The Maritime Federation of Model Railroaders, will be on hand with amazingly detailed displays. There will be rail related vendors and door prizes. The admission is $5. Children under 12 are free.

They are holding a Gluten Free Fair Saturday June 1 at the Coverdale Recreation Center in Riverview NB from 10-3. There will be a wide variety of vendors, free samples and a food truck with burgers and fries. The admission is $3 and children 12 and under get in free. For more information call 506-536-1867.

There’s Music at the Mall Saturday at the Amherst Center. Michelle Leblanc will be playing at the entrance to the Amherst Artisans Gallery from 11-1. From 1-3 Boonie Buddies at the market Café. Remember you can get a great breakfast or lunch, now offering Jamaican and Korean cooking as well as traditional food.

There’s a Benefit Dance for Angie Pipes, Saturday June 1 from 6-closing at Teasers. There will be music from Union Settlement, Ron Downey and Friends, Michelle LeBlanc, Mike and Greg, the Jeff Siddall Band, Wayne and Jim and many more. There will be a 50/50 and a silent auction. The Cumberland Blues Hockey Club is presenting a Bluesfest Beer Garden, Saturday 9:30-1:30, at the Dr Carson and Marion Murray Community Center. Music from DJ Pit Rat. Admission is $5 and you must be 19 to attend. For more information call Doug Williams at 902-694-8854.

The 23 Annual Crohn’s and Colitis Canada Amherst Gutsy Walk is Sunday June 2 from noon-3 at the Amherst Rotary Park. If you collect donations of $100 or more, you’ll receive a Gutsy Walk T-shirt. Go to crohnsandcolitiscanada, and click on the Amherst event start your fundraising. The Bangkok Food Truck will also be at the walk.

There’s a Fundraising Concert, featuring Dave Gunning and Garnet Rogers, Sunday at 2 at the Sharon United Church in Tatamagouche. The suggested donation is $20. Proceeds to of the Maritimes-Guatemala Breaking the Silence Network and the Guatemala-Tatamagouche Schools/Community Project.  

Cumberland Smile and Shine is holding their AGM on Tuesday June 4 at 6 at their office ata 141 Victoria Street.
