Music at the Mall

There’s Music at the Mall Saturday at the Amherst Center. Michelle LeBlanc will be playing at the entrance to the Artisan Gallery from 11-1. From 1-3 join Evange Landry and Neon Moon at the Market Café. And there’s always a great breakfast at the Market Café.

Lobster or Ham Take-Out Supper

The Sunrise Renwick United Church is holding a Lobster or Ham Take-Out Supper at the church in Amherst Head, Saturday June 1. You have three choices, ham for $15, 1 lobster for $20 and 2 lobsters for $30. You have to place your order in advance no later than Monday May 27th. Win $100 in Seafood from Chases Lobster Pound

The All Saints Springhill Hospital Auxiliary member are selling tickets again this year on $100 worth of Seafood from Chase’s Lobster Pound in Port Howe. The auxiliary raises funds for much needed equipment for the Springhill hospital and  also for scholarships for students entering the health care field at both NSCC & university. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and can be purchased at the gift shop or from any Auxiliary member. Draw date is June 19.

Women’s Barbershop Quartets Competition

Women’s barbershop quartets and choruses from the Atlantic region will be in Sackville on the campus of Mount Allison University from May 30 to June 2 for Harmony, Incorporated’s Area 1 Convention and Contests. The event is one of a set of regional contests across North America leading up to the International Convention and Contests, which will take place in Sandusky, OH in November.
