Comedy Night – Bob Mann
The Amherst Fire Fighters Association is hosting a Comedy Night, Saturday March 30 at 7 at the Fire Hall. It will feature Bob Mann. This event had to be cancelled earlier this month because of weather. If you bought tickets for the original performance, they will be honored Saturday. If you don't have tickets they're $12. The Great Lumberjack Maple Luncheon is coming Sunday March 31 to the First Baptist Church. Outdoor Pursuits – Outdoor Activity Group
Outdoor Pursuits is an outdoor activity group, for adults who enjoy nature, people and activities. Walking, hiking, biking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing and more are some of their pursuits. The I.O.D.E. Cobequid Chapter will be holding a Ladies Night Out Thursday at 7 at the Dr. Carson and Marion Murray Community Center. There will be a fashion show by Jay Set, special vendors, a silent auction, 50/50 draw, tickets on a spa basket, door prizes and a light lunch. The 2nd Annual Relay for Life Basketball Tournament is June 1st and 2nd at ARHS, All the profits and proceeds that are made between canteen and silent auction and at-the-door donations are donated to the relay for life and Canadian cancer society.
