The Great Lumberjack Maple Luncheon
The Great Lumberjack Maple Luncheon is coming Sunday March 31 to the First Baptist Church. After the morning service, enjoy an old fashioned breakfast, with pancakes, sausages, baked beans and brown bread, with ice cream and maple syrup for dessert. Wear your favorite plaid shirt. Outdoor Pursuits – Outdoor Activity Group
Outdoor Pursuits is an outdoor activity group, for adults who enjoy nature, people and activities. Walking, hiking, biking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing and more are some of their pursuits. The I.O.D.E. Cobequid Chapter will be holding a Ladies Night Out Thursday at 7 at the Dr. Carson and Marion Murray Community Center. There will be a fashion show by Jay Set, special vendors, a silent auction, 50/50 draw, tickets on a spa basket, door prizes and a light lunch. The 2nd Annual Relay for Life Basketball Tournament is June 1st and 2nd at ARHS, All the profits and proceeds that are made between canteen and silent auction and at-the-door donations are donated to the relay for life and Canadian cancer society.
