Cumberland County Community Health Boards
The Cumberland County Community Health Boards, will be updating the Community Health Plan, Wednesday night 6:30-8:30 at the Community Credit Union Business Innovation Center. Plus they will be awarding over $45,000 in wellness grants. Light refreshments will be served.

Chilli Willi Winter Festival is on this week in Springhill. Today check out the Springhill Elementary Schools Graffiti On the Ice, and the Chilli Willi Family Skate from 6-8. Tomorrow the Chilli Willi Soup Luncheon from 11-1 at the Baptist Church and the Coffee House 6-9 in the CIBC Community Room at the Community Center. As part of African Heritage Month, there will be a Roast Beef and Roast Turkey Dinner, Thur Feb 21, starting at 6 at the Community Credit Union Business Innovation Center. There will also be entertainment and guest speaker Jason McLean, NSGEU President. Tickets for “And Still I Rise” are $15, advance only, and available at CANSA, and only 125 are available. The 110th Fireman’s Winter Carnival is Saturday night at the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Center. Grab your skates and your best costume, and join the men and women of Sackville Fire and Rescue for a fun night amazing prizes. This year’s theme is Winter Wonderland. Doors open at 6 and the cost is 50 cents. Skating music will be provided by the Sackville Citizens Band.

There’s a Benefit for Art Collins and Mike Dwyer, who lost everything in a house fire in November, at Teaser’s Sat Feb 23 from 6-closing. The entertainment will feature Plan B, Ron Downey and Friends, Union Settlement and many more local bands, There will also be a silent auction, 50/50 draws and door prizes.
