Event Navigation
The Nature Conservancy of Canada will plant 2500 trees on Saturday, June 17 as part of a forest restoration and wildlife habitat enhancement project. NCC staff and volunteers, along with Canadian Forest International, will be planting native tree species near the New Brunswick-Nova Scotia border, in an old agricultural field that was donated to the land trust. The goal of the project is to help restore the Acadian forest, , and to encourage wildlife, especially moose, to migrate from New Brunswick to Nova Scotia.
