Public Hearing-Cannabis-Related Uses

Amherst Town Council is considering amending the Land-Use Bylaw for cannabis-related uses. The draft amendments would create definitions for cannabis retail, cannabis consumption lounges, and define where federally licensed production facilities may locate.

A public hearing on this matter will be held on Monday at 6:30 in Town Hall Council Chambers. Council will hear submissions in support or opposition. Written submissions may be submitted to Kimberlee Jones, Municipal Clerk, Town Hall, or by email at kjones@amherst.ca no later than Friday at noon.
