The Hall in Parrsboro will be holding music workshops this spring. May 11-12 there’s a Song Writing Workshop with the group Long Sault Trio. You will learn song writing and collaborate to write a song during the workshop. The cost is $30. For more information, call 902-728-2144.

The B.K. Believers Relay For Life Team is hosting a Mother’s day Pancake Breakfast, Saturday from 8-11 at Spring St. Academy. The cost is $6, with proceeds to Relay For Life.

The YMCA of Cumberland is holding a Triathalon Clinic Saturday from 8:30-2 at the Y. It’s a fun, skill enhancing clinic with introduction level technique feedback. The Amherst 50+ Club will be holding a Live Auction and Bake Sale, Saturday May 11 at their hall on Croft Street. Viewing starts at 9, with the auction at 9:30. If you get hungry, the kitchen will be open with hamburgers, hotdogs and more.
