The Amherst Police Department’s Cram A Cruiser event is back. The Crime Prevention Cruiser will be parked at various locations, accepting winter wear and non-perishable food. There is a strong need for snow pants, winter wear in sizes 8 and up for boys and plus sizes for adults. Remembrance Day ceremonies in Amherst start Sunday at 11:45 at the cenotaph in Victoria Square. Then there is a parade to Trinity St Stephens Church for the Wreath Laying Ceremony. In Sackville the parade will form up at 9:15 in front of the Sackville Legion, then march off to Convocation Hall for the Remembrance Day Service.
