The Knights of Columbus are serving breakfast Saturday morning from 8-11, at their hall on Robie Street. The cost is $6 a plate.

The Amherst 50+ Club’s Fall Fair is Sat Oct 13 from 8-2 at their hall on Croft Street. There will be crafts, baking, vegetables, and white elephant items. There will also be a full pantry table, a door prize and much more. They will be serving lunch too. Get a turkey burger, pie and tea or coffee for $6.

Autism NS has opened a resource center for Cumberland County at 50 Church St in Amherst. They are holding an Open House there, Saturday from 10-1. They’ll have some light refreshments.

St Ann's ACW will be holding there Annual Harvest Luncheon and Bake Sale on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm at the St Ann's Anglican Church Hall in Westcock, New Brunswick. They will be serving sandwiches, sweets, coffee and tea. Tickets are $8.00 and available at the door.

Broadfork Farm is holding a Field Day, Sunday Oct 14 from 1-4. There will be a farm tour from 1-2, a garlic planting party from 2-3, and from 3-4 a demonstration of their newly created self-loading compost spreader. Broadfork Farm is at 3630 Boars Back Road, just outside River Hebert.

The Town of Sackville will be holding a Tourism Strategic Plan Public Input Meeting, Tuesday Oct 16, 7 to 9  in Council Chambers at Town Hall. Pre-registration for this session is not required. There will be the same short presentation on Tourism related initiatives, followed by discussion of plans for next year and ideas that members of the public might wish to present.
