100th Cumberland County Exhibition
The Cumberland County Exhibition is celebrating it’s 100th Anniversary this year. It’s Aug 27-Sept 1 in Oxford.The exhibition continues to be one of the largest cattle shows in the Maritimes, and a showcase for local 4H clubs. The Town of Amherst will host an open house at Town Hall at 98 Victoria Street East Thursday afternoon between 4 and 6 to provide information on Phase 1 of the Willow Street infrastructure renewal project. JC’s TaeKwon-Do competition team is having a bottle drive to raise funds to go to the National Championship in Calgary. 15 team members are going, including two members of the team who are trying to make team Canada.
