Christmas Market

There will be a Christmas Market Saturday Dec 2 from 10-2, at two locations, the Knights of Columbus Hall and the Community Credit Union Business Innovation Center. The Amherst First Baptist Church Deck the Halls House Tour is back Sat Dec 2 from 2-7. The tour will feature five historic homes and homes of distinction, including three large century homes, one mid-century modern offering as well as a new sleek untraditional ranch-style in a country setting. Benefit for Wallace Wood

There will be a Benefit for Wallace Wood, Sat Dec 2 from 7 to closing at Teasers. Among the entertainers will be Ron Downey and Friends, Michelle LeBlanc, Wayne Cormier and Jim Brown and more. There’s an Afternoon Benefit Concert Fundraiser of Ricky Rhindress, Sunday Dec 3 from 1-5, at the Amherst Fire Hall. The benefit will feature Rik Reese and Gypsy Ron, plus other entertainers, and will be hosted by Chris Melanson-Melanson Entertainment Services. There will be draws and a silent auction. Proceeds will help with Ricky’s treatments in Toronto in January.

2nd Annual Town vs Gown Charity Hockey Game

The 2nd Annual Town vs Gown Charity Hockey Game in Support of the Sackville Food Bank is Sunday at 6:30 at the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Center. Representatives from the Town, Emergency Personnel, local businesses, Sackville Minor Hockey and both Titan’s hockey teams, will take on a team made up of Mount Allison staff, Faculty, Students and Alumni. There will be face-painting, competitions during the intermissions, children’s activities, 50/50 tickets and more!
