The JV Boys Basketball team is holding a Paint Night, “ A Winter Barn” with Arlene Collins, Monday Nov 20 at 7 at the Artisans Gallery at the Amherst Center. Tickets are $40 from team members.

Toys for Tots, organized by the Springhill Lions Club runs til Dec 4. It’s located at the Parkview Professional Center at 6 McFarlane Street behind Foodland. Thgey will have a sandwich board outside the door, when the office is open. Then you would be welcome to fill out an application and meet with a Toys for Tots representative. The Coats for Cumberland store in Oxford will open Tuesday at the Oxford Library from 2-4 and 6-7. The Springhill store open Wednesday 9-5 at NSCC.

Harrisons Home Hardware is holding a Holiday Ladies Night, Wednesday  from 6:30-9. The LA Animal Shelter will be there collecting donations at the door. All Black Friday promotions will be in effect and well as many other great in store specials. Outside vendors will also be on site.

This Wednesday, starting at 5:30, join the Cumberland Health Care Foundation for Light the Way. There will be music from g Pic 'n' Grin with the Carter Girls AND Daren White and the children of Spring Street Academy! There will also be face-painting, cookies, eggnog and more. And they are expecting Santa & Mrs. Claus. There's no charge for this event and the parking is free.
