Blueberry Harvest Festival Youth Talent Show

Sackville Street Chalk Art Festival

August 25, 2017 - August 26, 2017

The Sackville Street Chalk Art Festival, celebrating Canada’s 150, is Aug 25-26 directly on Bridge Street. Featured artists include traditional Madonnari artist Francois Pelletier and 3-D artist Chalkmaster Dave, but there will be enough chalk for anyone who would like to participate in the Free-For-All area. Masons – Blueberry Breakfast

Amherst Masons are serving Blueberry Breakfast Saturday from 7:30-10:30 at their temple on Lawrence Street. Blueberry pancakes with whipped topping and sausages. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children, with take-outs available.

Trans Canada Trail Celebration

With the support of Trans Canada Trail and as part of Canada 150, the Cumberland Snowmobile Club is hosting a celebration to mark the end of the Trans Canada Trail, Saturday Aug 26 from 11-1 on the Chignecto Ship Railway Trail. 3504 highway 366 in Tidnish. Cumberland County Ex New Logo

Next year will be the 100 anniversary of the Cumberland County Exhibition in Oxford. They would like a new logo for the occasion. It must be on 8.5x11 paper, and represent the best of what exhibition has been over the years.Entries must be in to the office by Monday, August 28th.
