Sunday July 16, the Ladies Council of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish of Joggins, will be serving Strawberry Shortcake for $4 at the Joggins Parish Hall from 11-3. There will also be a yard sale and fudge tables.

The 3rd Annual Bordertown Biker Bash is July 21-23 at Amherst Town Square. This year’s events include stunt shows, a biker breakfast, guided tours, the Tim Horton’s Blitz the Bridge, a Saturday Night Dance featuring 3 bands, over 30 vendors and much more. Springhill Old Home Week is Saturday July 22-Sunday July 30. Among the events, Blues Fest, with a ball drop, coed softball tournament and Beer Garden, this Saturday and Sunday. This Saturday there will be a Family Fun Day at Foodland, with washer toss and children’s games and a cookie walk. At the Community Center Saturday there’s a yard sale. There will be a Massive Yard Sale indoors at Wesley St. Mathews United Church in Pugwash. Sat July 22 from 7:30-noon. There will be many antiques and collectable items donated by the community and church families. Proceeds are to church upkeep.
