Great Amherst Mystery Meeting (General Public)
On behalf of the Town of Amherst Charlie Rhindress will host a second public meeting to discuss ways in which the town might capitalize on its past as the home of The Great Amherst Mystery. This year’s Chilli Willi Winter Carnival in Springhill is Jan 27-Feb 5. There are lots activities for the whole family. Among the events are a Legion breakfast, Snowshoe and Brew, a crib tournament, hockey games including an outdoor 3 on 3 tournament, paint nights for kids and for adults a family coasting party and more. African Heritage Month – Making a Kente Cloth
February is African Heritage Month. Join Maggie’s Place and Fallon Mayhew to celebrate by making a Kente Cloth and learning the history behind it. It is Wed Feb 1 from 2:45-4:15 at Maggie’s Place.
