Great Amherst Scarefest
There’s one more night for the Great Amherst Scarefest at the Amherst Center. It’s Wednesday from 6:30-9. The cost is $5. Save a dollar off your admission with a donation to the Food Bank.

Symphony NS at Trinity St Stephens
Symphony NS is coming to Trinity St Stephens United Church, Friday Nov. 1 at 7. Baroque music master Jeanne Lamon and Symphony Nova Scotia pay homage to Bach’s friends, mentors, and inspirations. There’s Music at the Mall Saturday at the Amherst Center. It’s a drop in day. You never know who will be playing from 9-1 at the Artisans Gallery. Then Boonie Buddies play from 1-3. As always, there will be a cash draw and door prizes.. Ask about the 2nd Annual Collins Christmas Craft Village, beginning Nov 15. And there’s always great food, with Caribbean, Korean and traditional cuisine at the Café.

The Trider’s Trail Run is Saturday Nov 2. The 6k run begins at Trider’s on Anson Avenue at 3. It will end with a post race beer, a commemorative beer glass and Trider’s soap. Register at the Y front desk or on-line at the Running Room or Race Roster. Cost is $30 until Oct 15, $35 after that. There’s a Gospel Benefit Concert for All Saints Anglican Church, Saturday Nov 2. It starts at 6:30 at the All Saints Parish Hall and will feature the music of the Patriquin Family Singers. There will be a silent auction, and they would appreciate a donation during intermission.
