Szakacs Family – 1st Baptist Church

The Szakacs Family is coming to the Amherst First Baptist Church, Tuesday Oct 15 at 7. Curtis and Bonnie, and their 8 children play a number of instruments and perform everything from Celtic and blues, to contemporary Christian to rap music. Y Service Club Citrus and Apple Sale

The Cumberland Y Service Club is accepting orders for their Citrus and Apple Sale. They are selling oranges, grapefruit and apples for Christmas. NSCC – Open House

NSCC is holding an Open House Thursday Oct 17 from 9-7. Explore the Amherst and Springhill campuses, meet the faculty and students and find out about the many courses offered in Cumberland County. There will be interactive classroom activities from 9-3.  From 4:30-7, at the Amherst campus, there will be a Fuel Your Success event, where you’ll learn to Fuel your Drive, Mind and Body. Adult Learn to Skate

Want to Learn to skate. The Amherst Recreation Department is offering Adult Learn To Skate. It begins Thursday, and runs Thursdays til Dec 5, from 12:15-12:45. West Highlands After School Program

The YMCA Of Cumberland, is taking registrations for the After School Program, at West Highlands School. The program will be offered Monday thru Friday 2:30-5.
