Scouting youth will be around Sackville Oct 18 & 19 offering apples for a donation to the local 1st Tantramar Scouting Group to help support our great adventures of hikes, camps, outdoor skills, environment issues, water skills and many more activities.    

The YMCA Of Cumberland, is taking registrations for the After School Program, at West Highlands School. The program will be offered Monday thru Friday 2:30-5. Amherst Area Heritage Trust in conjunction with the Fibre Arts Festival invites yoou to 2 Open House Tours, Wednesday Oct 18 from 6-9. Check out the Rhodes Manor at the corner of Havelock and Robie Streets and the 2 Barkers Mansion at 6 Regent Street. Admission is $5 at the door. Proceeds support the work of Amherst Area Heritage Trust, to preserve, protect and promote Amherst’s unique heritage buildings.

Spring Street Academy’s Movie Night is back Friday Oct 18. Doors open at 6 and the movie, Toy Story 4 starts at 6:30. Children must be accompanied by a parent. Popcorn and refreshments will be available to purchase. Admission is a donation.
