The Anglican Parish of Westmorland is holding an All You Can Eat Breakfast, Saturday from 7-10 at St. Marks Hall in Mount Whatley. Lots on the menu. It’s $10 for adults, $5 for those 6-12, and free for those under 6. Take-outs will be available. There will also be a flea market and baking table.

The 37th Annual Highland Fling Family Fun Fair is Saturday May 11 9-1 at the Amherst Curling Club. This year’s goal is to raise $35,000 to buy a mannequin simulator, to support nursing and other medical professionals in developing and maintaining skills. The 15th Sackville Rotary Spring Bash is Saturday April 27 starting at 7 at Tantramar Regional High. Wine, beer and spirit tasting is from 7-9. Then there’s a dance with Liz and Ben from 9-midnight. The Joggins Fossil Center will be hosting a presentation by the Minudie Heritage Association on the thousands of letters from the Amos Seaman family. Saved letters sent among family members, friends and relatives, as well as to and from business associates, politicians, organizations and immigrants, for over 160 years.
