Daffodil Sellers Needed
April is Daffodil Month and The Canadian Cancer Society is looking for people to help sell daffodils in Amherst. It only take a few hours of your time to make a difference and by getting involved, you’re showing those who’ve been affected by cancer that they’re not alone. There’s a Teen Dance at the Amherst lions Center, Friday March 29 from 7-9:30. Music from DJ Dave. The dance is open to all teens between 13 and 17. The Lions will have a canteen on site for snacks and refreshments. The cost is $6 and doors open at 6:45.

Cumberland Smile will be holding their annual walk/run fundraising event on Saturday, March 30. They will have a 5 km, 10 km route along with a 1 km family route so everyone can get involved. Register at the Wallace McCain Building, at 9, the run starts at 10. Registration fee is $10 Participate and help support the Smile/Shine program so we can help more children SMILE.
