Cowboy Town’s 5th Annual New Years Day Celebration, is Tuesday Jan 1 from 1-3. There will be free hot dogs and hot chocolate. You can visit the horses, enjoy a sleigh ride or sit by the bonfire. Admission is free.

Christmas Tree collection – Sackville

January 7, 2019 - January 12, 2019

If you live in Sackville, and want to dispose of your Christmas tree, have it curbside for collection the week of Jan 7th. Trees will be will be picked up on your regular garbage day only.If trees are not placed at curbside during pickup week, it is the responsibility of the homeowner to bring their Christmas tree to Public Works, 101 Crescent St. for disposal.

Infant Massage

Maggie’s Place has a new program for parents and babies ages 2-9 months. Infant Massage is a 4-week program that focuses on ways to soothe and further bond with your infant, through massage and touch. Update on Lorne Street Storm Water Mitigation Project.

Families Exploring Literacy

Cumberland Public Libraries a new literacy program, Families Exploring Literacy. It’s aim is to give children an introduction to books. Adult Learn to Skate

If you’ve wanted to learn to skate, the Amherst Recreation Department is offering Adult Learn to Skate, Tuesday’s beginning Jan 8 at the Amherst Stadium. It runs from 12:15- 12:45 and it’s free.
