Christmas Family Days

The Amherst Artisans Gallery and Market at the Amherst Center, are holding Christmas Family Days this weekend. Saturday from 8-11 it’s Breakfast With Santa. Pete Frenette will be performing on the market stage from 9-11. From 11-1 it’s R.A and Jack on the market stage. There will be a full Turkey Dinner from 11-2. Sunday afternoon the Shriners Clowns will be tying balloons at the Artisans market.

Holiday Fun Day

Maggie’s Place is having a Holiday Fun Day, Saturday from 10-noon at the Knights of Columbus Hall. There will be art, music, face painting and more. And they are also expecting a visit from a special guest. All children must be accompanied by an adult. And as with all Maggie’s Place programs this one is free.

Advent Vespers Service at Trinity-St. Stephen’s.

Cumberland Y – Tai Chi

The YMCA of Cumberland will be offering a 4 week winter session of Tai Chi beginning Jan 25. The sessions are Thursday nights from 7-8. Registration deadline is Jan 23. Goaltending Sessions for Minor hockey players.

Carly Jackson, former Cumberland County Minor Hockey Association player and now a goalie for the University of Maine  Women’s Hockey team, will be running two Goal Tending Sessions for Minor hockey players. Monday December 18th 9:00pm-10:00pm for Peewee age and above and Saturday December 23rd 7:15am-8:15am for atom aged goalies and below.
